Why Kegels Aren't Enough: What Your Pelvic Floor Is Really Telling You About Your Nervous System
You pelvic floor is more than just a physical group of muscles, it tells a deeper story

You pelvic floor is more than just a physical group of muscles, it tells a deeper story

Whether you are pregnant, just had a baby, or have been living with chronic pelvic health challenges for years, it can feel incredibly frustrating to see multiple providers only to feel like something is missing in everything you've tried. Or even worse, like your symptoms are being dismissed. I hear stories like this from women everyday, who are frustrated with their progress and don't know where to turn.

This past weekend I went on a “girls weekend” to celebrate a dear friends 40th birthday. We were soaking in the lake, on the lilly pad, in record degree heat. And it felt like one of the most luxurious experiences I have had in years. I had absolutely no responsibilities, other than to lay there, relax, laugh, and stay hydrated.

Now if you are a woman who has either prepared for childbirth or have had children you have more than likely heard something about the pelvic floor. Or if you have read the “sex advice” section in popular women’s (or men’s) health magazines, you will undoubtedly have heard about the pelvic floor.

At Sacred Bloom, we don't see your symptoms as problems, instead we listen to the story they carry.
